Oly North Science Fair
Student Council cheered each other on as they persevered in scaling a 45 ft then a 65 ft. rock wall today at Upper Limits.
2nd graders are hard at work creating their own island! Islands must include various land and water forms! Students are having a blast creating laws, currency, and buildings for their islands!
Guest speaker and Alaska native, Bob Clark, came to share with the 5th graders what it was like growing up in Alaska!

Olympia North 4th graders spent this week studying energy. They have been working all week to create chain reactions to show their understanding of how energy is transferred.
5th graders practice volume skills, relay style!! Each team worked to find the volume of a figure, find a cup with the matching answer on it, and then build a pyramid with the cups. First team with a stack of 10 cups won! Such a fun way to practice a very important skill! #OlySpartanPride

Compliments Project
Fourth Graders are focusing on each others positive characteristics. One student sits in the Hot Seat while classmates write compliments on the board behind them. Kids can’t wait to turn around for the Big Reveal to read the compliments.
