The Olympia North Student Council gave the Olympia School Board a tour of the school and highlighted some of the things that make ONE the place to be!

Student Council braved the cold and snow last Friday to place kindness rocks in the Learning Center garden.
The top Walk-a-Thon earners (class and individuals) got to throw pies in Mr. Hurley's face today!
Today in Digital Literacy Class students learned about cyberbullying and empathy. The lesson concluded with a Kid President video, “Twenty Things We Should Say More Often.” Ask your student what he/she learned!
Welcome to the Decimal Diner, where we dine in a line! 5th graders worked on adding and subtracting money- making sure to line the decimals up as they set up their computations!
Students in Mrs. Loyer’s 2nd grade worked as secret agents as they uncovered missing numbers, made spy launchers, and used their inferencing skills to solve different mysteries last week!

On Tuesday, September 25th Olympia North students celebrated Homecoming week with an afternoon assembly. Thank you to OHS student council for coordinating this event!
Whose line is it anyway? Grandparents & students participated in an activity in the new Learning Center on Friday. Our guests & students tried to guess the first line of classic children’s books. Everyone enjoyed the activity & was impressed with our new space.
The Scholastic Book Fair during Grandparents Day was a HUGE success! Thank you to the helpers. We couldn’t have done it without you! A very special thank you to the Grandparents for supporting a love of books and reading at our school! Over $9000 of books were sold of which half will go back to the school library!
Over 400 grandparents and special guests visited Olympia North on Friday! Go Spartans!
Grandparents Day is tomorrow from 8:00-10:15 am. We are excited to see everyone!
