High School wrestling at home tonight vs. GCMS and SJO has been cancelled.

Updates for activities today.
All games and meets for tonight Jan. 21st are on as scheduled. Practice information for other teams will be communicated by the coaches/sponsors. There are no shuttle buses tonight.

The OMS Boys basketball team defended their home court tonight from Midwest Central MS. The 7th Grade team won 42-24 with Will Langley (20 points) and Tate Lindsey (9 points) leading the way in scoring. The 8th Grade team won a 2OT thriller 50-47 with Mason Kruger (19 points) and Ty Gale (16 points) leading the way for the Spartans.
The boys play next Tuesday at 5 against Williamsville in their final home game of the season. Come out and celebrate our 8th graders as they play in their final home game of their middle school careers!

Today, the Olympia Transition Program was able to help out in another part of our community. We went to the Hopedale food pantry to volunteer! Special thanks to Erin Birky for hosting us.

Oly families- if you know of any seniors interested in getting their CDL this spring, please share this post. BACC has a last minute opening for their CDL program through Heartland. The class begins in February. See the picture below for more details. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Castillo ASAP! This opportunity won't last long.


The OHMS Market is open every Wednesday 11:00-12:15 for students and staff. The pantry is fully stocked with produce, can goods, and breads. The Shop has coats and lots of personal care items. Contact michelle.maris@olympia.org with questions.

The OMS Boys basketball team competed today at Tri-Valley. The 7th Grade team won 57-27 with Will Langley (13 points), Tate Lindsey (11 points), and Cade Yoder (10 points) leading the team in scoring. The 8th grade team lost 26-41 with Ty Gale (14 points) leading the team in scoring.
The Spartans defend home court Friday at 5 against Midwest Central.

Today's Activities


It was another busy but great week for the high school Wrestling team. We started by celebrating our seniors at our second annual stage dual.
We went 3-0 this week, defeating Canton, Williamsville, and Petersburg Porta, to earn us the title of Conference Champs for the second consecutive year.
We also attended the 61st annual Princeton Tournament over the weekend, placing 8th out of 34 teams.


Congratulations to Nora Collins on making her commitment to continue her academic and swimming career and Monmouth College.
