The JV and Varsity Girls Basketball team kicked off the holiday break with a pair of wins in the home opener against East Peoria. The Spartans have 3 home games next week, starting with Prairie Central on Monday at the OMS Gym. Come out and continue to show your support!

Olympia Transition Program & OMS Life Skills held their 4th annual Class-Giving. Students practiced reading recipes, following recipes and collaboration with peers! Ms. Callie laid the groundwork before we feasted on proper Thanksgiving communication skills!

This year Mr. Hendricks & Mrs. Boswell created a Department of FUN to build community among OHS faculty. Today, a feast was held for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday where we wrote thankful sentiments about our year. Blessed to work at Olympia!





Congrats to the Spartans on a 2nd place finish in the Clinton Turkey Tussle. Senior Hannah Cleveland receives All-Tournament Team honors. The Spartans are now 3-1 and will take on East Peoria on Tuesday at the OMS gym.


The Girls Basketball Team post another win in the Turkey Tussle over Decatur Eisenhower 59-33. They are now 3-0 on the season and will be playing in the Championship game on Saturday at 5:30 PM vs Porta @ Clinton High School. We need #SpartanNation to pack this gym, come on out!!

Congratulations to Blake Youngren on being named academic all state by the Illinois high school football coaches association.


Congratulations to Nolen Yeary on being named honorable mention all state defensive and offensive lineman by the Illinois high school football coaches association. Nolen was also named to the academic All State Football team.


Congratulations to Chase Litwiller on being named 1st team All-State by the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association. This is a great honor which is only been achieved by three others in school history.
