Nolan Yeary broke the school record this morning by Cleaning 325 for 1 rep. This is a huge amount of weight in 20 years of training athletes the 2nd most I have ever seen a high school age athlete do.

The high school boys track team competed at the Gene Armer Invitational at U of I yesterday, where 50+ teams came from all over the state to form one of the most competitive indoor high school meets of the year. Top performers were: Keagan Uphoff placed 5th in the 60 m hurdles at 8.81. Season PRs: Cooper Phillips (2:17.0), Jacob Lawless (2:19.0), and Logan Demling (2:14.9) in the 4x800 m relay. Chase Ragar had a leap of 39' 4" in the triple jump. All-time PRs: Dylan Nowaskie cleared the high jump bar at 5' 6.5". CJ Moore ran 2:13.51 in the 800 m run. Nolen Yeary launched the shot put 49' 1", beating his previous best by nearly 2.5 feet! This meet concluded our regular indoor season, and now we wait to find out if any of our athletes qualify for the Illinois Top Times meet at IWU’s Shirk Center next Saturday.
