Congratulations to the 2022 Those Who Excel award winners from the Olympia School District! Each year the Illinois State Board of Education accepts nominations for each job category and determines award levels for the nominees based on the letters of recommendation and other documents that are sent in. The award levels are recognition, merit, or excellence. We were recently notified of our nominees' recognition levels.

Kristopher Ketelsen (Special Education Teacher at Olympia High School)- Meritorious Service in the Early Career Educator category
Tim Severt (Custodian for Olympia North Elementary)- Meritorious Service in the Educational Service Personnel category
Melissa Pfeffer (Olympia High School nurse)- Meritorious Service in the Student Support Personnel category
