The Olympia School District is currently looking for full-time, part-time, and substitute bus drivers and aides. The starting rate of pay for bus drivers is $19.25 per hour and for aides is $15.50 per hour. What if I can’t work every day or all times during the day?
Even if you are not able to work every day or for the full day, we would love to have you join our team! If you have another job or responsibilities that only allow you to work for us at certain times of the day or on certain days, you can still earn extra income with us! We need substitutes to fill positions every day for bus drivers or aides who request off work or for extra trips that get scheduled. We are happy to work with you to find routes/trips that fit within your availability.
What if I don’t have a CDL or School Bus Driver Endorsement?
Even if you do not currently hold a CDL with the proper endorsements, the Olympia School District offers paid training at $19.25 per hour to help you earn your CDL license and your appropriate endorsements.
