High School Strength and Conditioning camp starts this evening @ 5:00 pm. It is not too late to sign up. Bring workout shoes, workout clothes, and a water bottle. Cost is $100 please make checks out to Olympia High School.
Reminder that Olympia will be offering sports physicals on June 4th from 8:00am to noon for $20 (cash or check). Please park in the lot by the water tower and enter the building through door 95 in the southwest corner of the building. Follow posted signs.

Congrats to the OHS guys' track team members that competed at the state meet this past Friday and apologies for this not being posted earlier. Even though the performances fell short of some of their own expectations, the experiences will prove to be valuable down the road for the young crew of athletes that competed at Charleston on the big blue track at Eastern Illinois University. Spartan competitors included Nolen Yeary finishing 26th in the shot put(46'9.5"); Chase Ragar finishing thirty seventh in the triple jump (39'9"), Cohen Alexander finishing 28th in the 400(53.28); Kaden Wilcox, Kaleb Jacobs, Cooper Phillips, and Tyler Gellner finishing 37th in the 4x400 relay(3:47.21); and Keagan Uphoff finishing 11th in the 110 hurdles(missing finals by 0.15 seconds), and qualifying for finals in the high jump and 300 hurdles. Great job guys on an incredible season and the Olympia community is very proud of you!
Great job Keagan Uphoff, for earning a 4th place medal in the 300 hurdles at the IHSA Class 2A state track meet today at Charleston! He also placed 10th in the high jump. What a fantastic high school track career!

Olympia Spartans Softball will play fellow Sangamo Conference member, Auburn High School at Williamsville High School on Friday May 24th in the Sectional Championship game at 4:00pm. Remember to get your digital ticket in advance.

Survive and advance. Down 4-6 with two outs in the top of the 7th inning, Lady Spartans softball with an unforgettable 5-run rally to defeat Quincy Notre Dame 9-6 in the Williamsville sectional semi-final. Kat Springer started the 7th inning rally with an infield single. Danika Frazier followed with a deep single to right field to score Springer. Shelby Finchum was intentionally walked and Lydia Rutledge with the at-bat of the season fouled off six pitches before stroking a two-run triple to left field to give the Spartans a 7-6 lead. Gabby Frye was next with an RBI single and scored on an RBI triple by Sarah Cross. Frazier finished with 2 hits and 3 RBIs, including a 2-run home run in the 1st. Frye also finished with 2 hits and 3 RBIs, including a big 2-RBI single in the 6th. Springer and Rutledge with 2 hits and 2 runs scored. Frazier with her 24th win without a loss on the circle, striking out six. The Lady Spartans will play Auburn for the sectional championship on Friday at 4:30 at Williamsville.

Congrats to Keagan Uphoff for signing with IL Wesleyan Univ to compete in track and field! He is a 4-year varsity letter winner in track at OHS and has qualified in 4 events for this weekend's IHSA 2A state meet. Best of luck Keagan, at state and in your future with Wesleyan!
