Marching Spartan Alumni! We are so excited for the 50th anniversary of Olympia this year! The 2022-23 Marching Spartans would love to welcome alumni back to play with the band at home football and basketball games. If you do not have a working instrument, you are still welcome to hangout with the band. On Friday, October 7th, all Olympia Band and Color Guard Alumni will be recognized before the start of the football game. The class of 84/85 band members will be highlighted. MS 8th grade baseball DH vs Washington today is cancelled.

The start time for for the middle school baseball B games at Washington today has been moved back to 11:00am. The bus time has moved to 9:15am.

The middle school softball games scheduled for today August 20th at Mt Zion have been canceled.

Spartan Night - Location Correction -- Spartan Night activities will start in the High School Gym, not the football stadium at 5:30pm.

The OHS girls golf team extended its record to 4 and 0 with a win over Porta today. Madi Barnes led the Lady Spartans with her first place finish in the competition. Come out Monday as the girls take on Prairie Central at North Greens Golf Course. Match starts at 4:00.

Olympia North students had a great first day of school!

The Olympia girls golf team, led by Madi Barnes’s score of 43 and Laney Morrow’s score of 46, took first place in the girls’ first competition in the Sangamo Conference.

Open house was a success! We are looking forward to a full day of school tomorrow!

A new school year means we get to welcome our new Spartan Staff! We spent two days this week working through a new teacher orientation where we went over the Olympia District Vision & Values; Strategic Planning Themes; Teaching & Learning in Spartan Nation; and Student Support Systems. We are excited to welcome these new staff members to Olympia!

As the school year approaches, Spartan staff has been hard at work getting ready to welcome back students. This energetic group of educators spent their afternoon preparing to provide each and every student a warm welcome into the new year.

Middle school baseball will practice rain or shine tonight 4:00-6:00. Parent meeting will still be at 4:00, plan to meet at the field as always.

Reminder, the first official football practice is today @ 3. Not too late to join the team for any incoming freshman. You need to be registered on 8 to 18 and have an updated physical. #boysoffall #beatriverton
