
OMS Softball are 3A Regional Champions. Sectional Championship will be 11:00 am, Saturday at Tri-City High School (324 West Charles, Buffalo) vs. Chatham Glenwood.


This year's Homecoming Parade will be in Hopedale on Sept. 27th at 6:15pm. We are in need of four locations for the classes to build their floats. If you have an available garage/shed that they can use for this purpose, please let michelle.olson@olympia.org know. Thanks you

The Spartans boys soccer drop a tough one yesterday to Decatur Eisenhower 5-2! Both goals coming off the foot of Senior Jace Whitted. Freshman Kasey Salvator was big in the net with another great performance and racking up 20 saves. Boys on road and back in action Tuesday night

Great job to the Lady Spartan Junior Varsity Volleyball Team today.
They placed 2nd in the Clinton Classic losing to Maroa Forsyth in the championship.


Olympia varsity vb took 4th in the Clinton Classic. Aubrey Rycyzyn made the all tournament team. Spartans beat Argenta, Illini Central, and Clinton. Aubrey Rycyzyn 23 kills, Shelby Finchum 64 assists, Emma Books 5 blocks, Kat Springer 77 digs, Aubrey Rycyzyn 5 aces. R. E. F. N!


7th grade falls to Teutopolis 3-1 and comes back to pick up the win vs Mt. Zion 6-5 today. Spartans close out their season winning 5 of their last 7 games and playing great baseball the second half of the season!

8th grade gets wins over Teutopolis (9-4) and Mt. Zion (13-2) today. Alexander, Birky, Walters, Sloan with multiple hit games. Pierce and Byrne get wins on the mound. Spartans start Regional play at home vs Pekin Edison Wednesday at 4:30.

OMS Girls Softball win their first round of Regionals 14-2 against the Catholic Cyclones of Springfield Little-Flower. Come cheer them on in the Championship game at Olympia, Tuesday the 9th at 4:30.


Rockets to much for Spartans as Boys soccer drops a hard fought game 7-1 tonight! Lone goal scored by Sophomore Tyler Carroll off the assist by Senior Jace Whitted! Freshman Kasey Salvator was a force in the net racking up 20 saves for the Spartans.

Tonight, was a celebration for 8th grade night, where they finished their regular season 15-2, after beating a tough Evans 3-0. While the 7th grade ended their season 14-0. Please come out to cheer on 8th grade in their first Regional game 10:00, Saturday at Olympia.
