The Olympia District is in need of more substitutes!
If you have a bachelor's degree, you are eligible to be a substitute teacher. Our pay is $100.00 per day for substitute teachers and you can choose which buildings you are interested in.
Substitute teaching assistants (paraprofessionals or aides) must have 60 hours of college coursework and are paid an hourly rate. 60 hours of college coursework could also qualify you for a short-term teaching license with the State.
Substitutes must register at the Regional Office of Education and then with the District. Visit the ROE's website for additional information.
