| Biographical Information Born and raised on a farm outside of Melvin, I went to Melvin-Sibley High School. After graduating, I attended Illinois State University and earned my Bachelors degree in Middle School Education with my specializations in math, social studies, and science. In 1999, I received my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction. This is my 20th year at Olympia Middle School and 6th year as head teacher for OMS. My husband Eric and I live in Stanford, Illinois, with our two children, Christopher and Cara, and our Alaskan Malamute, Koda. In my free time, I enjoy camping, boating, watching NASCAR and the Cubs, and watching my kids participate in their activities. |

IXL REQUIREMENT! All students are to complete IXL each week. The week "runs" Monday through Sunday evening. Their objectives must be done in the 7th grade library, unless they have been told specifically by me to work in a different library. Each student must have at minimum 3 objectives with a SMART score of 90 or higher. Once they get a 90 or higher, they cannot go back and do that objective the following week and receive credit for it. Please feel free to call/e-mail if you have any questions.
