Olympia Elementary Teachers are getting excited! New eno interactive whiteboards will be installed in every K-5 classroom for the new school year. The whiteboards (IWBs) are amazing and will offer endless possibilities in teaching the curriculum to Olympia students.
A Polyvision eno trainer, Lissa Weier visited the district on May 13, 14, and 19 at the Unit Office from 3 to 5 pm for training on the new IWBs. Over 45 teachers, tech staff, and principals attended the training and learned some of the operational basics of the boards. These boards are computer screens, keyboards, dry erase boards and magnetic boards all in one. The interactive and visual aspect of teaching lessons is outstanding and teachers are ready to begin to use these boards in their lesson plans next year.
