This is the image for the news article titled Kindergarten students explore Antarctica using Virtual Reality GogglesStudents at Olympia North have been using virtual reality goggles to experience learning at a new level. Thanks to the Olympia Foundation For Education (OFFE) who granted us money to purchase virtual reality goggles, students have had the opportunity to interact with Veteran’s memorials, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and Antarctica. The goal is to keep students excited about learning new things. They wear headphones to only hear the surroundings and move their head left, right, up, and down to interact with the environment. There are endless opportunities to include this experience for all subjects. “I like it.” Inez Dawson “I love it.” Alyssa Lozier
