Olympia to Offer
Pre School Screening for Children ages 0 to 5
Spring 2017 Pre-School Screenings
Screenings for the 2017-18 school year are available for children birth through age five. This is a process to determine where children fall developmentally in areas such as motor skills, concepts, language, and behavior. Based on the results of the screening, a recommendation will be made to let you know if your child qualifies for a program. This screening is mandatory for children to qualify for the Pre-K program.
The screening schedule is as follows:
Olympia South Elementary – March 1st – Atlanta Christian Church
Olympia North Elementary – March 2nd - Danvers Community Building
Olympia West Elementary – March 3rd - St. John’s Church, Minier
PLEASE NOTE: Your child must be 3 years old on or before the day of the screening for screenings in Atlanta and Minier. However, there will be afternoon screenings in Danvers for children age birth to 3 years old.
If Olympia schools are not in session on the day of the preschool screenings due to inclement weather or some other issues, the screenings will be rescheduled.
If you are interested in having your child screened, please contact your local elementary school to make an appointment.
