Olympia South Elementary is using a school wide positive behavior incentive program this
year. Students are recognized often in many ways for the positive
choices they are making each day. Since we have reached the end of our
first semester, Mrs. Rogers invited students who have had less than 4
marks this year to join her and her helpers for an afternoon of
It was so exciting to see that over 100 students earned this
celebration! Students had a “snow”ball fight with Mrs. Rogers and Mr.
Padilla in the gym and then spent some time making “snowman” treats
while listening to holiday music in the cafeteria.
Everyone had a great time! When we come back in January, all students
start over with their marks and have the opportunity to earn the 0-4
mark party at the end of the year!
