Olympia Staff Members Present at Raising Student Achievement Conference

This is the image for the news article titled Olympia Staff Members Present at Raising Student Achievement Conference​On December 5th, 2016, three members of the Olympia Administrative team presented at the annual Raising Student Achievement Conference, which is held in St. Charles, Illinois.  This conference is sponsored by the Illinois Association of Regional Superintendents and brings together educators from across the state of Illinois.  

Mrs. Lisa Castleman, Principal at Olympia West, Dr. Ed Jodlowski, Principal at Olympia High School, and Mr. Andrew Walsh, Principal at Olympia Middle School all provided information to teachers and administrators from around the state at this conference.  

Mrs. Castleman presented on how to use document-based questions to enhance student achievement.  Dr. Jodlowski and Mr. Walsh co-presented on the Advisory Program at Olympia High School and Olympia MIddle School in a presentation titled Awaken Your Learners.  Dr. Jodlowski and Mr. Walsh also presented on Skills Based Reporting.  All three sessions were well attended and participants remarked how much they learned from the presentations.
