Students in Mrs. Durako’s and Mrs. Gray’s first grade classes at Oly South celebrated Thanksgiving together with a feast on Tuesday, November 22nd.  The students were able to invite a guest or two to come to the feast with them this year.  Over 100 people attended the event.

First graders performed a song as well as a readers’ theater for their guests.  The meal consisting of turkey, green beans, apple sauce, bread and butter, pumpkin pie, and popcorn was served on their own homemade placemats.  The students were all dressed as turkeys for the big event.

The first grade classes would like to thank our parents, grandparents and friends for donating money to help purchase our feast food and for helping us put our turkey costumes together on the Friday before.  Our feast would not have been complete without your support!
