OHS Special Education Teacher Anna Shaw, along with a couple of her students, shared a power-point presentation with the Board showing the many exciting projects both inside and outside of their classroom.  pic 1Mrs. Shaw noted that learning life skills has been made easier this year due to the renovated classroom which includes a full variety of kitchen appliances and a washer/dryer.  Mrs. Kathy Weinzierl, representative of the Helping Hands Community Center in Stanford, was also present to share how these students have been instrumental in the center’s Food Pantry, unloading, sorting, & organizing the food.  Superintendent Andrew Wise presented Mrs. Shaw’s students with certificates of appreciation for their participation in the OHS Helping Hands Program.
