Sculpture students Brook Bastian, Emma Wendland, Samone Donald, Hannah While, and Brenley Miller were faced with the challenge to create a product that solved a problem.  Enter the amazing Levicake!  This product uses magnets to levitate a cake so that it can be easily rotated for decorating and display purposes.  Their goal was to not just create a prototype that gave the illusion of levitation, but to legitimately levitate a cake.  With the help of a little scotch tape to hold the top magnet in place and prevent it from flipping, they managed success!  I believe this is the first cake in the history of Olympia to be seen levitating in the art room.  Truly this is a great moment in Spartan history!
